Overgrowing trees and brambles closing highway footpath

North side of railway bridge - Footpath has been restricted by at least 50% by overgrowing trees / bushes. South side of railway bridge - Footpath has been restricted by at least 30% by brambles from the adjacent property. The footpath is very well used and lots of pedestrians are now starting to use the road to pass this location.

  • It has now got very dangerous. You have to walk on the road to pass. Needs a partial road closure to make it safe for pedestrians.

  • Now getting very dangerous. My children can only just pass without going on the road. From the north side the bridge has a blind summit therefore you are unable to see the traffic coming towards you especially if you are a little person.

    To note this is one of the main routes to the hospital and the Police have a depot down the road so there are a large number of blue light drivers on the road many doing excessive speed.

    We are now just waiting for the accident to happen!
