I have had email contact from WDC saying a) that the job will be done b) that the paving was broken by local residents bringing their cars onto the pedestrian area . I contested the second assertion but there exists a photo showing a disabled local person's van, and also this one. Oops. I have also seen a Council truck there, to work on the shrubbery. But - does this let them off from fixing the paving?

Nothing done yet. WDC are exploring putting in bollards to protect the proposed future paving slabs.

I had to nag quite a lot and argue, but it was fixed in the end.
