Overgrown vegetation causing dangerous visibility onto the main A5 and also into the service road.

Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 10:48, Mon 4 June 2018

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later

The vegetation is well overgrown between the service road and main A5 in Grendon. This is causing dangerous driving conditions due to poor visibility when entering and leaving the A5 from the service road. As a resident within the service road we were told when the new trees were planted that they would be well looked after and that the growth would be managed. At Present the over grown grass is causing danger to road users as visibility is very poor and drivers are having to pull into oncoming traffic with extra caution which only increase the risk of accidents happening.

  • I will report this to the engineer. It is likely that the verge is managed by Highways England as we only manage the service road and not verge. Should you need to contact Highways England directly they are on: Email: ha_info@highwaysengland.co.uk Tel 0300 123 5000
