Overgrown hedges blocking public footpath
Reported in the Hedges / trees on rights of way category anonymously at 19:38, Wed 23 May 2018
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1320437.
Private hedges have been allowed to overgrown into public footpath on Cumberland Drive just on the corner from Westmorland Ave going down to Monmouth Gardens. at the moment only 1 person can walk down this part of the footpath which is both dangerous if you have a pushchair and a small child to walk with as there is not enough room. this has been a issue now for a number of years as you can see when the footpath has been re-tarmac previous in the past. It has also now grown over the green communications box.

The hedge has been trimmed slightly so you can now see the cut out of the green communication box but it is still covered and still over/blocking most of the footpath. You are still unable to use the full width of the footpath. This hedge needs to be cut back to the founder of the footpath so the green communication box can be seen fully. If left to continue to grow like this the public will end up walking on the road.
