Old Post Office Mail Box
Reported by John Hank at 11:30, Wed 28 March 2018
Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1260607.
Next to the Royal Mail post box is a steel box that used to be used for the Royal Mail to store letters and parcels for the delivery person to collect. For many years it was not used due to the bottom rusting and corroding leaving holes. In recent months this box has been pushed from the upright position to lying down exposing the rusty corroded jagged edges. It looks unsightly but could be a hazard to small children or dogs.
