The large grass verge outside the one stop shop is now being used as an unofficial car park.

Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1238453.
This has been going on since people moved into the three new housing estates at the top end of Weddington Road. So I would say the most likely reason for using this grass verge as a car park is extra amount of traffic Weddington has to deal with. This is causing the grass verge to become a mud verge with ruts forming in it, so come the summer how are you going to mow the grass. Also the mud is being transferred on to the official car park this is then ending up on the highway and on the footpaths. If some slips on the mud on the footpath there's going to be a serious injury so the easy solution to remedy this would be to install a few wood or concrete posts. Also it's making the area even more unsightly.

The local council don't take reports of problems seriously. Eg glass in the Jack wetstone car park has been reported three times and has still not been removed.

Yesterday a car was parked with its front end on the grass verge and back end on the footpath, the day before a van half on the grass verge other half on double yellow lines. This is becoming a dangerous area and soon someone will get hurt.

It's NOT FIXED Nuneaton council are a waste of time. I have no faith in this council, I might as well talk to a brick wall

Still nothing has been done. As this report is now logged if some unfortunate person is injured then there's a very strong case for compensation against the driver of the vehicle and also who ever is responsible for that grease verge.
