New Core42 traffic lights not synchronised with Birch Coppice lights

Reported in the Traffic lights category by Dan Taylor at 08:12, Mon 12 February 2018

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later

When the new lights for the Core42 business park on the A5 west turn red, the lights for Birch Coppice (only 200yds away) turn green. When the Core 42 lights then turn green....Birch Coppice turn red! They obviously are not linked in any way meaning unnecessary delays to westbound traffic and extra C02 and pollutants etc - what would it take to synchronise these 2 sets of lights such that the A5 and traffic coming out of Core 42 are made efficient?

  • I have been passed between the council, highways, Kier constructions and now the core-42 site owner and so far no clarity over who owns the lights and therefore not fixed......

Lots of nice polite e-mails and surveys though - which is reassuring....
