Frequent flooding of road due to blocked drain. Blockage caused by pool of mud from traffic damaged verge and lack of kerbstones. Installation of short length of kerbstones would reduce need for frequent clearing of drain.

Sent to Stratford-on-Avon District Council and Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later

The road drain blocks frequently resulting in flooding of this section of road, which occurs every time it rains heavily. A short length of kerbstones on the gulley side of the road would reduce the number of blockages and the frequency of drain clearances. The kerb would also reduce damage to the verge from heavy traffic.

  • The drain cleaning team have been in Welford today 5th March) So far they have not cleaned out the drains in Church Lane. I have just checked the drain outside my property (Bedford Greys) and found it to very severely blocked (can't push a broom handle down) Are Church Lane drains on the schedule to be cleaned soon?
