Status unknown
Road surface collapsed- statutory minimum width from centre marking not present.
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 21:40, Fri 26 January 2018
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1197337.
Road surface collapsed. Slapping a bit of asphalt on as was done a year ago is a waste of money. The surface needs to be excavated, the underlying structure repaired and the road resurfaced.

We received a polite e-mail from a Warwickshire Highways officer saying that the road would be kept safe and a repair would be undertaken in March. We then received the following update e-mail "The status of the your report has now changed. The fault you reported has been resolved. This does not necessarily mean a repair has been undertaken, but will have at least been investigated and appropriate action taken.
Regards, The Warwickshire Highways Team
Nothing whatever has been done; indeed the problem is worse, see photo.
Available carriageway width from centre line now <1.7m.

Some rubble has been dropped into the deepest holes, now, see new photo. I do not know whether this is a Warwickshire Highways repair or some kind person trying to help out. In correspondence, Warwickshire Highways have told me that they cannot give any indication as to when repairs might be carried out. It is disappointing that the rulers of this country have decided to let rural roads deteriorate to sub third world quality.

Someone has now spray paint marked tiny areas for repair, completely ignoring the collapsed part of the surface- it appears their idea is to patch up a 2m road width and abandon it at that. No actual patching carried out yet. As I said in the original posts, these thin patches are valueless and disintegrate in the first winter after they are done.
