Non existant grass verge/parking issues
Reported anonymously at 10:32, Fri 26 January 2018
Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1196604.
As you drive into Coniston Rd from Guys Cliffe Rd, the entire left hand 'grass' verge is non existent.
It is riddled with potholes, mud, puddles, stones and other deep depressions (please see attached photographs - couldn't attach all) meaning vehicle undercarriages are damaged and the road looks unkempt. Not only this, but due to the uneven nature of the verge, at night there is serious hazard to personal health as people trying to cross over it have been known to fall injuring themselves.
This issue extends the length of the road on the left and then onto the 'grass' island at the end. This issue has been present for a while (according to other residents).
May I suggest that this be fixed, or to prevent a recurrence, that the damaged element mentioned (not the footpath on the left hand side) be dropped and tarmacked? There is a blatant and obvious lack of parking for residents which is only likely to be compounded by planning permission that has been granted for an apartment block at the end of the road.
Please can this be sorted?
