Raised manhole cover on top of speed ramp
Reported via iOS in the Gully or manhole defect category anonymously at 10:38, Sun 21 January 2018
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later
The manhole cover on the top of the first speed ramp (as you enter from Henry St in to Cheverel St) has a lip that is protruding by over 10mm and many (non speeding) drivers are catching the bottom of their cars when driving over the ramp.
This has led to many pieces of plastic undercarriage from cars who have hit this cover being left strewn across the road.
It won’t be long before drivers will make a claim for damage now that this has been reported to the local authorities.
Warwickshire County Council has received your report which will be reviewed accordingly. There are no automatic updates to the status of this report - this is something we are working on as part of the improvements to fault reporting.

No update from WCC that they have done anything at all and the problem persists. Perhaps they have money to pay compensation but not to repair?
