Blocked drain

Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category anonymously at 09:25, Mon 6 November 2017

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later

Draing is block between Cox's lane and Chapel Lane near to the bus stop on the High Street, Napton. Water is spilling out the drain and across the road. Given the changing weather conditions this will likely turn to black ice and cause an accident. The water is being dragged down the road by vehicles this causing a larger area of potential problems. Please could the drains urgently be flushed through and unblocked? Thanks

  • Taking too long to fix. Now a safety issue.

  • When will all drain from top of the high street get jetted and cleared? With imminent cold weather water is spilling across the road and is likely to cause black ice issues for all road users and pedestrians. If more salt is applied to the area it is only going to compound the issue with filling all the gullys with grit. Appreciate you most urgent response.
