Large oak tree which is very near houses needs urgent inspection.
Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 22:50, Mon 16 October 2017
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1127451.
There is a very large oak tree outside 2 Fernhill Drive which is opposite our property, number 5. It is very close to both houses. It has needed some work removing lower branches for a few years but we really feel that it now needs inspecting by an arboriculturalist to make sure it is safe. We are increasingly concerned about damage to our property and vehicles, from falling branches. Particularly as we get a lot of debris every time it is windy, let alone when it is as stormy as we have experienced this evening, which has particularly concerned us to the point of sleeping in the back bedroom. Any large vehicle passing our house also weakens the lower branches further. Many thanks.

I am extremely concerned that you have not responded to my message (sent on Monday 16/10/17) about the safety of and the potential imminent danger posed by the oak tree which is located in the pavement opposite my house.
We now have another storm (Brian) forecast for the U.K. this weekend. Although this forecast does not currently include the West Midlands, as with Storm Ophelia it will most likely result in strong winds in this region.
Please will you you urgently send me an e-mail (by close of play today) updating me with what actions you have taken and when an expert will be sent to survey the tree.
Thank you.
