Collapsed fire hydrant cover in the middle of footpath along Coventry Road, about 4 houses down from Cawston Lane turning.
Reported in the Gully or manhole defect category anonymously at 09:33, Thu 14 September 2017
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1107903.
This has been damaged for 18 months possibly longer without being repaired. It's in the middle of the footpath along Coventry Road so is a hazard to anyone walking or cycling along the path, it is especially dangerous to families with young children and those pushing child buggies in particular double buggies as they have to go on the verge to get around it, as there is a Nursery at the end of Coventry Road there are double buggies regularly using the footpath.
There is also the possibility that the fire hydrant itself is damaged so is unable to be used when actually needed.
Please repair this as soon as possible.
