Pavement eroded at kerb - hole caused turned ankle and fall

Reported anonymously at 22:43, Sun 3 September 2017

Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later

The pavement is in such bad condition along the whole length of Church Lane that gaping holes have appeared at junction of pavement and kerb. My wife turned here ankle and fell into the road. Fortunately no vehicles were approaching. Please remedy as a matter of urgency.

  • We see yellow markings indicating that surfacing work will happen at some stage. Will this include filling teaming holes at junction of road and curb (where it has completely washed away) and between pavement and curb where holes still remain (although some are filled - puzzling as they could have easily been done at the same time unless the contractor ran out of tarmac ??)
