Resident parking on pavement outside Jonathan's Fireworks, blocking dropped kerb
Reported in the Parking on street category anonymously at 10:59, Wed 2 August 2017
Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1082566.
A local resident regularly parks in the evenings on the pavement of the corner of Arbury Road/side road next to Jonathan's Fireworks, blocking the dropped kerb of the crossing, even when there is adequate on-street parking available in the immediate area. This is in direct contravention of Highway Code rules 243 and 244, and makes it extremely difficult for those using wheelchairs/mobility scooters, with reduced mobility, and buggies/prams to navigate this crossing. This has been reported to Warwickshire Police pretty much every day over the past two weeks. Some road furniture (a bollard, fence or fixed greenery feature) here would prevent this issue.

I've uploaded a photo of the area when the vehicle is not parked there so WCC can see where to possibly put street furniture - either move the bin back a few feet or some furniture up on the raised pavement.
