Car keeps parking on padestrian walk way covering the whole path

The person keeps parking on drop curb walk way that has been made for acsess of puschairs and wheelchairs the whole walk way is blocked and when asked if they can move and explained what the path is for i was told to push my pram threw the mud as they were not leaving and it is classes as their drive. Ive tried to be nice and explain but it isnt fair i have to go threw the mud and down a curb with a pram to trail mud threw my house also people in wheel chairs and mobility scooters would find it impossible to cross the road.

  • Warwickshire County Council does not have the authority to deal with vehicles parked inappropriately at this location. For assistance with a vehicle which is causing an obstruction you would need to contact the Police who have powers to take appropriate action. The Police have the authority as the Highway Code states“You MUST NOT leave your vehicle or trailer in a dangerous position or where it causes any unnecessary obstruction of the road. [Laws CSDPA sect 21 & RTRA sects 5 & 8]” In such a case they may issue a Fixed Penalty Notice or arrange removal/relocation of the vehicle.
