Temporary traffic light issues

Reported anonymously at 08:51, Thu 19 November 2020

There are currently temporary lights which are causing massive issues to traffic that is attempting to make its way to the A425. The traffic heading up to The Butts / Coten End is getting stuck where it goes into one lane - so when the traffic is meant to flow the other way, there is nowhere for it to go - during this time where the traffic heading down has nowhere to go, the lights will changed again moving more traffic up. This has a knock on affect to all of the traffic along The Butts, Castle Hill and all the way down to the Banbury Road - This is compounded by buses and lorries who can block the Butts, thus resulting in gridlock. In addition it is not possible for emergency services to get though. The lights need to be changed so they stay on red (both at the same time) to allow the traffic to flow through - or they need to be manned so that the traffic can flow.
