National Speed Limit Sign - Hit by Traffic & Obscured

Reported anonymously at 20:24, Thu 12 December 2019

Bretford, A428 (exiting village, due south) The roadside post, supporting the National Speed Limit sign, has been knocked sideways by a vehicle. It is completely obscured behind a telephone post and adjacent bushes. NB: The picture uploaded was grabbed from Google maps in summer 2018. The problem still exists now (December 2019), but is now a bigger issue as the signage is much less obvious during darkness. Regularly queueing traffic for the nearby bridge and traffic lights often blocks the other speed limit sign, on the opposite side of the road, from view. A sign BOTH sides of the road is essential for clarity.)
