Cars parked dangerously close to junction and across the only safe place to cross.

Reported anonymously at 16:17, Mon 18 November 2019

Cars park all day every day and go to work at woodlands primary school where the junction of pound lane meets packington lane. A new path has been built here due to how dangerous it is for three schools to cross. One of which is a special needs school. These cars are too close to the junction and parked over the dropped curb. It is impossible to see when crossing and when driving. They are repeat offenders but are not the only ones to park here in this way. The white H marks on the floor are for the old dropped curb so it’s too small but it also doesn’t extend far enough to stop vehicles parking on a junction, as you should be further than 10 meters from a junction when parking. The issue of parking on this junction has gone on for years. It is a matter of time before a child is run over whilst trying to cross the road.
