Inadequate Parking Marking

Reported anonymously at 18:35, Mon 10 June 2019

Dear Sir/Madam We were recently delighted to have our road surface renewed in Ryland Street but concerned that the parking delineation lines do not mark individual parking bays. This encourages parking to be too profligate in terms of individual space, actually reducing the volume of parking available. Where bays are clearly delineated parking discipline is better maintained. It seems that a cost saving in regard to painting white lines is now creating a problem. My wife is disabled and the probability of our being able to park near our our home is now diminished, mainly by visitors who take up too much parking space. Yours faithfully, Robert Griffiths 8 Ryland Street 01789 292907
