Broken and raised slabs on disability drop paving and kerb, at junction of New Road with Hargrave Close.

Reported anonymously at 11:59, Mon 24 September 2018

Broken/raised slab...possibly caused by heavy vehicle. The slabs are the buff coloured, dimpled type, which slope to a dropped kerb to allow easier use by blind or other less able persons. As such, the damage may well cause serious injury to such people as they cannot readily see the problem. My wife, who has no disabilities, has recently tripped and fallen at this location. Thankfully she just received minor grazes.bruises. To my knowledge this particular problem has existed for 6-8 weeks.
