Pedestrian crossing

Reported anonymously at 15:30, Sat 24 March 2018

The crossing opposite the chip shop is very worn. The markings on the road are very faded and it's difficult for drivers to see that this is a pedestrian crossing. I cross here daily and most of the time drivers don't stop when they should, I've also been on the crossing when a driver has driven through it and almost hit me - but really I can't blame them as the crossing is so faded I don't think they can actually see it. Please can the council come and repaint the road markings as it's very dangerous for pedestrians at the moment, especially with so many children living near by.
